TUCSON (KVOA) -- The eighth Friday Football Fever Computer Revival Player of the Week award for 2021 goes to Canyon del Oro quarterback Caden Dawes.

The first-year junior starter turned in the best performance of his prep career last Friday night when he completed 8-of-9 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Pueblo.

Dawes threw 20 and 44-yard touchdown passes to Daylon Beck, a 65-yard scoring strike to Chance Cassel and a 76-yard bomb to Zack Rogowski.

He has thrown 14 touchdown passes this season to just two interceptions and The Dorados have won five straight games.

Canyon del Oro Caden Dawes is 10th in Conference 4A in passing with 1,336 yards

Canyon del Oro (5-3, 2-0) is ranked 15th this week in Conference 4A. If the playoffs started this week the Dorados would be the 13th seed as the top two teams in 4A (Glendale Cactus and American Leadership Academy-Queen Creek) are currently in the Open Division playoffs.

CDO has a chance to take control of the Kino Region race this Friday night but it won't be easy as the Dorados travel to undefeated No. 5 Casa Grande (7-0, 2-0).

How tough the Cougars are remains to be seen. They're seven opponents are just 13-34 on the season.
