TUCSON (KVOA)- The City of Tucson election is one week away and Prop 410 on the ballot looks to raise the salary for the Tucson mayor and city council members.

If passed, Prop 410 would increase the mayor's salary from $42,000 to $54,000 per year and city council members' salary from $24,000 to $36,000 per year.

The prop would also increase these salaries each year by the percentage increase in cost of living.

The Tucson City Council and mayor haven't received a salary raise in 22 years.
