2 attacked by javelina over weekend in Tucson, wildlife officials say

TUCSON (KVOA) — The Arizona Game and Fish Department say a javelina broke a man's leg after a blind-side charge while walking his dog.

The incident occurred on March 7 northwest of Craycroft Road and 22nd Street.

Javelina thinks dogs are coyotes and victims get hurt defending their dogs.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department encourage people to go the other way ASAP when javelina's are seen.
