TUCSON (KVOA) - A man was seriously injured in connection to a crash that occurred in central Tucson Friday morning.
According to Tucson Police Department, the collision occurred on Swan Road near Broadway Boulevard. One man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries in connection to the incident.
TPD said Swan Road between Lavern and 17th streets was shut down in connection to the incident. The roaday has since been reopened.

According to an officer at the scene, Tucson Police Department is on the lookout for the other driver involved in the crash.
Police say that individual reportedly abandoned their vehicle and fled the crash scene on foot.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Bonillas Basic Curriculum Magnet School was currently in lockdown as a precaution, according to Tucson Unified School District.
