TUCSON (KVOA) - The man arrested in Tuesday's fatal shooting in central Tucson was identified by Tucson Police Department Wednesday.

At around 6 p.m. Tuesday, 34-year-old Alberto Ledezma was found with obvious signs of gunshot trauma in a residence located in the 4600 block of East 31st Street near Swan Road.

Despite immediately receiving first-aid from first-responders when they arrived at the scene, Ledezma was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to TPD, when the officers arrived at the scene, they immediately detained and arrested 34-year-old Kevin William Holland outside the home in connection to the incident.

Prior to the shooting, Ledezma was visiting Holland during a social gathering at the home. TPD said the shooting was the result of a confrontation between the two individuals.

Holland is currently being held at Pima County Jail on charges including second-degree murder.
