Two suspects charged with felony murder after 19-year-old killed in Midtown shooting

TUCSON (KVOA) – Two people have been charged in a deadly shooting that happened on Friday in Midtown.

Tucson Police Department says Eric Martinez,19, was shot and killed at a trailer park near Prince Road and Stone Avenue early Friday morning.

Martinez arrived at the trailer park with the other shooting victim in search of his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, police say.

TPD says Martinez and 18-year-old Daniel Cabrera were trying to rob two other men when shots were fired.

Cabrera and Martinez’s ex-girlfriend, Litzy Iriarte-Serrano, 17, were arrested and charged with felony murder for their role in the attempted robbery.

Bradley Joseph Williams, 23, and Ricardo Fragoso, 26, were also arrested in connection to the shooting.

Williams was charged with two counts of theft of means of transportation and a probation violation. Ricardo Fragoso was charged with prohibited possessor, possession of methamphetamine for sale and other narcotics violations.
