Isolated showers this afternoon and evening!

Parts of Southeastern Arizona FINALLY got some rain after nearly 50 days! Expect off and on light isolated showers especially this afternoon and evening with some lingering showers the first half of Thanksgiving Day.

Rain totals have been light with trace amounts to 0.10" so far with not much more expected. Still nice to finally end the dry streak since early October! Spotty showers will linger through tonight but we'll dry out across the board by early tomorrow morning.

A cooler air mass is on the way and temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler compared to the start of the work week with highs in the 60s and low 70s today and tomorrow. Overnight lows into Thanksgiving morning will drop into the 30s, 40s and low 50s across Southern Arizona.

Thanksgiving Day will be breezy and cool with tons of sunshine. Gusts around 25 mph will be possible so that is something to keep in mind if you are planning an outdoor gathering. Highs in the low 70s for the warmest spots!

Temperatures begin to warm back up by the weekend with highs in the mid 70s. Our chance for additional rainfall this weekend has gone down, unfortunately, but areas along or south of the International Border could see some light rainfall.

  • Today: Clouds increase and near average (10%). High: 73°
  • Tonight: Isolated showers and cool (20%). Low: 50°
  • Thanksgiving: Mostly sunny, breezy and near average. High: 72°
