GREEN VALLEY (KVOA)- Some people reached out to News 4 Tucson asking how they can sign up for their second COVID-19 vaccine dose after they received their first dose at one of the two COVID-19 vaccination PODs in Green Valley.

The Green Valley Council said that 3,000 vaccines were given out between the two PODs, which are the Santa Cruz Valley Regional Hospital and the Community Performing Arts Center from February 3rd-5th.

The GVC President Debbie Kenyon said that they have been told they will be receiving the second doses for those two sites at the four week mark, which is the beginning of March.

Kenyon said that at this time they don't anticipate on getting any more vaccine until after they give out this second dose allotment.

She said that the method of how they are going to notify these 3,000 people who have already received their first dose to sign up for their second appointment is being addressed and worked on now.
