TUCSON - Isolated storms round out the weekend and the summer season. The final full day of the summer season brings slightly warmer temperatures and isolated storms. Storms will develop along a Tucson-Nogales line and points east from the late morning hours and into the afternoon. Brief periods of heavy rain and localized flash flooding will be the main concern with the storms that do develop. Isolated storm chances will continue for Monday afternoon before drier air begins to work into the region. For the middle of the workweek showers and storms will be limited to the higher elevations near the international border. We'll see our first fall system move in from the Pacific heading into next weekend. This system will bring isolated showers and storms back into the forecast along with some cooler temperatures.
