TUCSON - It was already a full house when the American Legion opened to veterans seeking jobs at the NBC-sponsored "Hiring Our Heroes" job fair.

NBC and KVOA News 4 Tucson are proud to take part in this national and local effort to find jobs for veterans and military spouses. Here in Tucson, News 4 Tucson is the exclusive sponsor for today's job fair.

The Veterans Job Fair is being held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the American Legion John P. Burns Post 36, located at 5845 E. 22nd St.

To date, NBC News has helped more than 10,000 veterans find jobs.

The local partners for this job fair are the American Legion, the Department of Labor's Veterans Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Arizona Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Department of Labor s Veterans Employment and Training Services (DOL VETS), and the Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces.
