TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's detectives have released a composite sketch of the suspect who they believe may have broken into an east side home and sexually assaulted three children early this morning.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 11100 block of East Mountain Gate Place, near Catalina Highway and Snyder, at approximately 2 a.m. this morning for a report of a possible sexual assault on three minor children, according to a news release from the department.
The girls, aged 6, 8 and ten, told deputies they did not know the male suspect who entered the room. Detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit determined that the girls and their mother were visiting grandparents in Tucson. Last night, a male suspect entered the home and committed the acts of sexual assault while the girls were in the bedroom, PCSD officials stated.
The victims described the suspect as a white male in his 20's. One of the victims assisted detectives in developing a composite sketch of the suspect, seen above. Detectives are canvassing the immediate and surrounding neighborhoods in search of the suspect or evidence of the crime.
Anyone with information regarding a possible suspect identification is asked to contact 911 or
