Posted 3:01 PM 6/21/2012 : Sheriffs looking for 3 suspects in massive burglary ring
TUCSON - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is looking for three individuals in connection with a burglary ring investigation that has already lead to 104 indictments against 14 individuals, and 11 arrests.
Back in August 2011, a 2,000-pound safe containing valuables in excess of $500,000 was stolen from a home west of Tucson, according to a news release from PCSD. Over the course of the investigation, detectives recovered some of the stolen items and discovered an elaborate network of associates complicit in a criminal enterprise.
In January 2012, search warrants were issued and evidence was recovered from four locations. To this day, 104 indictments have been issued on 14 different individuals, including charges of theft, conducting a criminal enterprise, money laundering, forgery and trafficking in stolen property.
To date, 11 people have been arrested. PCSD officials are looking for the remaining three. They are:
Francisca Lourdes Morales (DOB 05/28/76) wanted for charges of:
- Illegally conducting an enterprise
- Money laundering
- Conspiracy to commit theft
- Theft
- Trafficking in stolen property (4 counts)
- Forgery (4 counts)
Ramona Rios Molina (DOB 12/28/53) wanted for charges of:
- Illegally conducting an enterprise
- Money laundering
- Conspiracy to commit theft
- Theft
- Trafficking in stolen property (3 counts)
- Forgery (3 counts)
Leticia Guadalupe Solis (DOB 09/30/67) wanted for charges of:
- Illegally conducting an enterprise
- Money laundering
- Conspiracy to commit theft
- Theft
- Trafficking in stolen property
- Forgery
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals or information on the crimes under investigation is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-Crime.
"With respect to items still missing from the burglary, the Pima County Sheriff's Department has published pictures of some of the most precious objects on its website," officials state on the PCSD website.
