Posted 7:20 PM 10/12/2013 : Warming trend slows for the new week
TUCSON - Current warming trend shunted by incoming system.
Daytime highs jumped back up to a normal 86 this afternoon after spending the last couple of days in the 70s. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, temps will climb again Sunday with an approaching system kicking up the afternoon winds. Expect a breezy day to round out the weekend with gusts in the 25-30mph range.
The same system that picks our winds up tomorrow will also bring a slow and modest cool down into the upcoming work week. Highs will drop back below average by midweek with a forecast high of 82 on Wednesday.
