TUCSON - A 28-year-old Sahuaro High School teacher was arrested last week after a police investigation revealed he allegedly engaged in an inappropriate sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.

Charlie Luna was arrested on November 27th and was charged with one count of Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

According to Tucson Police, a Sahuaro High School official notified them about an alleged relationship between Luna and a 15-year-old female student. 

During the investigation, they learned Luna engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with the female student when she was 14- years-old.

Luna and the teen originally met at a local dance studio, TPD officials say, and Luna may have engaged in inappropriate relationships with other students at the at same dance studio.

Luna is currently in custody at the Pima County Jail and is being held on $100,000 bond.
