TUCSON - Just in time for the summer season, Mount Lemmon's Rose Canyon Lake Campground finally opens back up after some reconstruction.

The campground was originally built in the late 1950's, and it's federal stimulus funds that are bringing it up to date.

It's a popular area for camping, hiking, or fishing. Around 68 campsites are now more accessible with new additions like picnic tables, grills, and even bear proof storage lockers.

Parking is about $8 and there is no fee for fishing.
