TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred at a north side bank last week.
On September 7, at about 4:38 p.m., deputies responded to a bank robbery at 4752 E. Sunrise Drive; the incident was at a branch of U.S. Bank located inside a Safeway store, according to a news release from PCSD.
Detectives responded and learned from witnesses that the man handed the teller a threatening note demanding money. He left the store in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash, the release states.
The suspect is described by sheriff's officials as: " a Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5'8" tall, thin built, with dark, short hair and light facial hair. He was wearing a white and green colored plaid shirt and blue jeans."
Anyone who can identify the suspect or who has information on the case is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
