Posted 8:30 PM 4/24/2012 : Police give update on missing girl case
TUCSON - Tucson Police provided new information at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening regarding the disappearance of Isabel Celis.
Police say they have "refreshed" the search warrant on the family home. TPD says this is being done in order for the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit to go inside the home and evaluate it.
TPD also says the family continues to be cooperative.
Meanwhile, police say they will scale back their search operations and continue to focus on the investigative portion of this case. Investigators have mostly completed a canvas within a 3 mile radius of the home. Search operations will continue to be revised as warranted, which means they could revisit some areas if they receive information to do so.
Police have received more than 250 leads and are following up on all of them.
Police do not plan to have another update on this case until Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m., unless there are major developments.
