Posted 7:53 PM 9/27/2012 : UPDATE: Fatal crash shuts down Campbell
TUCSON - Emergency crews are on the scene of a deadly crash.
Tucson Police tell News 4 a 72-year-old male was walking across Campbell south of Irvington when he was hit by an SUV a little before 7:00 p.m. and did not survive.
He was not in a crosswalk.
Tucson Police say at this time there is no sign of drugs or impairment on behalf of the driver.
The crash has shut down southbound Campbell Avenue from Irvington Road to Wyoming.
