TUCSON - Former Salpointe high school offensive lineman Kris O'Dowd has joined his alma mater's coaching staff on a volunteer basis for the playoffs.
O'Dowd, who played his college football at USC, was released by the Arizona Cardinals after training camp. He recently had a tryout with the Kansas City Chiefs, but wasn't signed.
