TUCSON - Today on "Let's Make a Meal," Mary Weger from Venice Restaurant and Pizzeria, on Wrightstown and Pantano, stopped by to make antipasto. The well-known appetizer salad is actually Italian for "before the meal." Here's her recipe:
Antipasto
Lettuce - Iceberg & Romaine
Cherry Peppers, Black Olives, Green Olives
Pepperoncini Peppers, Tomatoes
Carrots, Green Peppers, Onion, Cucumbers
Roasted Peppers, Celery,
Hard Salami, Provolone Cheese
Serve cold with bread sticks & Italian dressing
