Posted 10:47 PM 4/26/2012 : Day 6: Search for Isabel Celis
TUCSON - Police said about 50 investigators and 30 officers are combing through pin-pointed areas that include bodies of water and parks for any evidence that could be associated with this case.
Police are on day six of their search efforts in finding little Isabel Celis.
"I think we'd be remiss if we didn't search all those areas that could possibly be an area that hides evidence," said Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villasenor.
Chief Villasenor said the lead sheets that police have compiled from interviewing neighbors, businesses and the community have been beneficial.
He said it's key to discuss them in briefings to decide what's important.
"We sit down. We prioritized areas that we think could potentially be some places that we need to make sure that we checked off the list and then we will go use our resources to search that," he said.
Chief Villasenor said they have spoken to all registered sex offenders in the area but are still looking at anyone as a possible person of interest.
Police said they're confident that they have interviewed everyone in the area, but they said if anyone feels they have been missed and have information for the police call 88-CRIME.
