TUCSON - Seoul Kitchen Korean BBQ on E Grant Rd. received 5 critical violations.
A cook was observed cracking raw eggs, running water over her hands without soap, and then grabbing a clean bowl. Dishes were being cleaned with water that was at too low of a temperature when mixed with chlorine to sanitize.
Bean sprouts were held longer than 24 hours with no use-by or discard date. A spray can of oven cleaner was stored alongside clean dishware. All violations were immediately corrected, which the owners wanted to reinforce as well. Seoul Kitchen Korean BBQ on E Grant Rd. received a "Good" rating.
Applebee's on E Grant Rd. received 2 critical violations. Milk and cole slaw were not being held at a safe temperature. Dishes were being cleaned with water that was at too low of a temperature when mixed with chlorine to sanitize. Both violations were corrected. Applebee's corporate office declined to comment. Applebee's on E Grant Rd. received a "Good" rating.
We told you last week about China Super Buffet on W River Rd. receiving a "Needs Improvement" rating after a live roach and dead roaches were found around the buffet. The restaurant has been treated 3 times and passed its re-inspection.
Olive Garden on W Wetmore Road, Domino's Pizza on W Orange Grove and Jack in the Box on E Grant Rd all received an "Excellent" rating.
