TUCSON - The first day of February looks to pick up where January's weather left off.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, high temps Wednesday should peak in the low 70's for Tucson, with upper 60's outside the metro. The wispy cirrus clouds dotting the skies today are a sign of a change moving in tomorrow.
A cold front sweeps through Thursday, bringing gusty winds over 20 MPH. The front departs by Friday, with slightly below average temps in store for Friday.
The Friday cool-down is only temporary. By the weekend, sunny skies and 70 degree temps prevail again thanks to high pressure over southern California.
