Posted 10:02 AM 8/8/2013 : The Monsoon vacation continues
TUCSON - Dew points are dropping and the thermometer's threatening triple digits.
Southern Arizona remains thunder-free the next few days, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Dry air from the southwest has scoured out Monsoon moisture and brings daytime highs around the 100's for Tucson this afternoon.
Monsoon moisture returns by the weekend. Expect a slight chance of isolated storms in Cochise, Graham & Greenlee Counties Saturday, then across southeastern Arizona Sunday into next week. High temps should remain in the 100's.
