TUCSON - October-like temps coupled with ample sunshine.
A strong Pacific storm system stays well out of reach this week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. As California & the Pacific Northwest gets blasted with valley rain and mountain snow, southern Arizona will see mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs through Wednesday peak in the mid 80's for Tucson.
As that Pacific storm passes north of the state, highs Thursday and Friday drop into the low 80's. The weekend forecast hinges on high pressure building off the California coastline. We should see sunny skies and temperatures warming up to the mid 80's Saturday and Sunday.
Overnight lows the next several nights drop into the 50's for Tucson, with 40's for portions of Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties.
