TUCSON - North Carolina high school students have a new requirement before they can receive a diploma.
A state law will require them to learn CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver, starting in 2015.
A similar push is being made here locally.
Today on News 4 Tucson at 4 p.m, Jeff Christensen, the chairman of the American Heart Association's board of directors, stopped by to talk about his organization's push to mandate CPR training for all aAizona high school students.
