TUCSON- Entrepreneurs in the tech world come up with some great ideas. With no business experience, the idea often fails.
However, with the help of a business incubator, first-time entrepreneurs have great success.
"Eighty percent of companies after five years are no longer successful. The opposite is true for those companies that seek help and come and work in an incubator like the Arizona center for innovation," said Arizona Center for Innovation Director Joann Macmaster.
They offer startups some of the best resources in Arizona, as well as a place to work on their product.
"Our job is to help them go through that process, get the customer validation, build a prototype, raise money, put their business plan together and really build an effective and successful go-to-market strategy," Macmaster said.
The Center for Innovation is located at the University of Arizona Tech Park at I-10 and Rita Road. It holds up to 15 different businesses at a time.
If a business feels they can benefit from this incubator they can apply online at: www.azinnovation.com
