TUCSON - A Tucson couple will always remember the new year 2013.
Carrie and Marc Serra just welcomed their first child, Taylor Patrick Serra, into this world.
He was the first baby born at Tucson Medical Center, at 2:20am.
Taylor weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and is about 20 inches long.
His mom says he was due on December 26th.
They've been anxiously awaiting his arrival.
She was out running errands Monday, when her water broke.
They went to Tucson Medical Center around 5pm Monday and got into the delivery room around 8pm.
The couple says Taylor's been calm so far, just sleeping.
They're excited to have the first baby born this year at T.M.C.
They've had family and friends visiting all day.
