TUCSON - A major burglary bust has nearly a dozen people in custody.
Pima County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested 11 people in what they are calling an illegal enterprise. They are searching for 3 more people. Most of the suspects are related.
"We've stirred the pot quite a bit," Pima County Sheriff's Detective James Austin said, "and we've interrupted whatever they were doing."
The burglary ring was responsible for stealing about $1 million worth of items, according to deputies.
Burglars stole a one-ton safe from a home on the West Side last August. The victim had bought jewelry from 2 of the suspects a few months earlier. He though events might be connected.
Sheriff's Detectives identified the original suspects and found more people involved.
Investigators discovered evidence at 4 different locations connecting the suspects, according to deputies.
Pawn shop records also connected the suspects, according to Austin.
Many of them did not have much legitimate income, according to Austin.
Investigators issued 104 indictments against 14 people.
Deputies are still looking for Francisca Lourdes Morales, 36, Ramona Rios Molina, 58 and Leticia Guadalupe Solis, 44.
