MARANA - Rising country star Easton Corbin made a stop in Marana Saturday night.
He played a benefit concert for the Marana Health Center Foundation.
Corbin is the first male country artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles hit number one.
His latest single, 'Lovin' You is Fun' off his sophomore album 'All Over the Road' has already cracked the top 10.
News 4 Tucson's Rebecca Taylor was invited to interview Corbin inside his tour bus before the show.
Taylor asks, "on Twitter I saw an adorable photo of you buying your own album. What was that like?"
"It's really cool, it's something you dream about. For me as an artist, that one day I could have my music out, and for people to hear it," explains Corbin. He tweeted photos of the album purchase on September 19th, the day of it's release.
Fans from across Arizona came to the farming community of Marana to see him.
With a degree in agriculture Corbin fit right in.
Linda, Holly and Shelby are three friends who traveled to hear Corbin.
"He's so sexy. And he's got a great voice," says Shelby.
"I love his music, the question is what's not to like? He's just amazing," said Linda.
"He's fun to listen to, you can't go wrong," says Holly.
Taylor asks Corbin, "do you have any connections to Arizona?"
"Not necessarily. Just a lot of fans, and that's the most important connection," said Corbin.
Taylor goes on to say, "I did hear something about a movie you like to watch, called Tombstone?"
"Oh I love that movie! Never mind, yes, that's my connection," Corbin says with a smile.
It's that easy charm, and a familiar country sound that fans can look forward to on tour.
If you couldn't make it to Marana, Corbin sang the chorus to his new song 'Lovin' You is Fun' acapella for Taylor.
"Alright, I'm going to try this, I'm going to try this. Ready? Loving you is fun," sings Corbin, in perfect pitch.
A crowd of about three thousand came out, with ticket proceeds going to the foundation.
