TUCSON - A burglary victim got money and his TV back the same day it was stolen.
Mark did not want to give his full name. His house was burglarized near Magee Road and La Canada Drive.
"It could have been a lot worse," Mark said. "We were able to recover a lot of my stuff. I know a lot of people that this happens to never recover a thing."
He left for an appointment in the middle of the day Thursday.
"The fact that I was only gone for 2 hours," Mark said, "clearly, they were watching me or got really lucky that that's the time that they struck."
He said he was mostly angry but also concerned for his daughter, Ashton.
"I was scared," Ashton said. "Having a window broken in your house is scary going to sleep."
The Fugitive Investigative Strike Team arrested John Moynihan and Patrick Murphy at a Northwest Side Travelodge Thursday.
Murphy was a felon and a suspect in other burglaries in the county, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The Pima County Burglary Unit arrived and charged them with Second Degree Burglary, according to PCSD.
"I know times are tough right now," Mark said, "but it's tough for everybody, and this is not the way to handle it. There's other ways."
