TUCSON - Investigators say the severed head, hands and feet found in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood this week likely do not belong to a body found in Pima County that was missing those body parts, although they aren't positive.
On Friday, January 6, Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies discovered a body in Western Pima County that was missing its head, hands and feet.
This week, Los Angeles Police were called after residents walking in the area discovered a severed human head in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood. On Wednesday, detectives found a pair of feet buried in a shallow grave and two hands nearby.
Investigators in both Pima County and Los Angeles have been in contact, and authorities say that based on a preliminary investigation, the body is likely not linked to the found body parts.

TUCSON - The man who was found dead on the side of roadway south of Marana this morning was decapitated, Pima County Sheriff's Department officials confirm, and the head was not found with the body.
At about 10:55 a.m. this morning, Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the 2300 block of North Reservation Road and West Mile Wide Road to find a deceased adult male with obvious signs of trauma on the west side of the roadway, a release from the department states.
Officials say that in addition to the decapitation, there were other signs of trauma, and evidence at the scene showed the body had not been there for longer than 24 hours.
The call came from Customs and Border protection agents, who were alerted to the body by Bureau of Land Management workers.
