Posted 11:23 AM 3/26/2013 : Another continuance in city corruption case
TUCSON - The corruption case against two former city transportation employees, now continued until April 23.
Kurt Hough and Robert Palomarez face multiple felonies, including fraud and theft. Monday morning's court appearance was the latest in a string of delays.
A grand jury indicted Hough and Palomarez in September of last year. Right now a plea deal is in the works. Lawyers on both sides told the judge they need more time and that is why the case was continued.
Hough and Palomarez are accused of using thousands of dollars in city resources for their own personal use.
