TUCSON - McDonald's on E Golf Links received 2 critical violations.
Several yogurt parfaits were sitting out on a work table at 59-degrees. When the inspector asked the manager how long they had been there, he or she said about an hour. Plus, several items stored as clean on the clean rack were actually dirty, some with sticky grease on them.
However, the violations were corrected. So McDonald's on E Golf Links received a "Good" rating.
Subway on N Thornydale received 2 critical violations as well.
Employees were observed not properly washing their hands, and a bottle of Tylenol was stored above the food prep table.
Again, the violations were corrected. So Subway on N Thornydale received a "Good" rating.
We told you last week about Sunnyside High School receiving a "Needs Improvement" rating. The school passed its re-inspection.
We also told you 2 weeks ago about Marisco's Chihuahua on S 6th Avenue receiving 8 critical violations. Marisco's passed its re-inspection as well. So did Sonic drive-in on W Orange Grove.
Red Robin at the Tucson Mall, Eegees on Oracle and Samurai Restaurant on Oracle as well all received an "Excellent" rating.
