TUCSON - The I-19 southbound ramp at Ajo is back open now after being closed for several hours from an accident this morning.
DPS tells us that a dark, green Jeep Liberty truck a pedestrian and fled the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to UAMC and is in serious condition.

TUCSON - An accident has closed the southbound off-ramp at I-19 and Ajo.
It happened shortly after 7 am. An official with the Department of Public Safety tells us that a dark green Jeep Liberty struck a pedestrian.
The driver of the Jeep took off and the pedestrian is seriously injured.

TUCSON - A major road improvement project on Tucson's southeast side has been the target of vandals, everything from stolen equipment to pranks with street signs.
It's happening along the Houghton Road corridor improvement project.

Now that the first phase of the Grant Road Improvement Project is complete, business owners and home owners are preparing for the next leg of the project. Phase two stretches one mile from Castro Avenue east to Fremont Avenue.(More)
