Is it good to eat a variety of foods?

That's usually the advice given in the past, but now, doctors with the American Heart Association say there's no proof that a diverse diet is healthy.
In fact, a variety of food options in a meal may delay the feeling of fullness. People end up eating more.
The AHA also says diet diversity can also lead to poor eating patterns and weight gain in adults.
