Evening storm chances continue

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - Another day, another tough forecast call for southern Arizona.

Leftover clouds have lingered into the early afternoon hours. Thus, rain chances have been reduced for the Old Pueblo.

According to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, there is a 30% chance of storms between 7 PM & 12 AM. Areas north and west of Tucson stand the best chance of scattered storms during the evening hours. A few could be severe in southern Pinal County.

There is Blowing Dust Advisory in effect for western Pima & much of Pinal County from 3 PM until 10 PM. Conditions are favorable for scattered storms to produce blowing dust along I-10 and west of Tucson.

Daytime highs now through Sunday peak in the mid to upper 90s. Scattered storms are possible through the weekend, decreasing to the isolated variety Monday.
