Kentucky elementary school installs slide inside building

Posted: Updated:

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY) - Here's something you don't normally see inside a school building.

Bristow Elementary installed a slide inside the school last week.

School officials got the idea for the bright red, two-story tunnel slide from the Ron Clark Academy in Georgia.

Principal Chris Stunson said the slide is for more than just fun; it teaches children a valuable life lesson.

"Sometimes you have to create your own path, so it's a symbol of students working very hard and being successful and developing their own path," said Stunson.

It has not been decided if the slide will be open at all times or just for special occasions.
