PHOENIX -

Arizona students gathered for the “March for Our Lives” movement at the State Capital on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

Those students said they started the rally five months ago and that Governor Doug Ducey still has not met with students to talk about gun safety and gun reform.

March for Our Lives Arizona members announced they plan to hold a Governors’ Town Hall Meeting.

They have invited all governor candidates to attend the meeting to discuss gun violence in the state and what can be done to combat it.

Confirmed candidates include Senator Steve Farley, David Garcia, and Kelly Fryer.

The event will be August 14th, 2018 at 6805 E. McDonald Dr. Paradise Valley, AZ 85253-5352.

The event is free but you must have a ticket. To get tickets, visit the March for Our Lives Arizona event Facebook page.

The organizers expect 300 to 500 people to attend the town hall meeting.

The students say they were going to hand deliver a letter to Governor Doug Ducey continuing to ask him to meet with the students, as well as, invite him to the meeting.
