Local baseball organization hosts scout day

Posted: Updated:

With more than 15 coaches and scouts looking on, BNL or Baseball's Next Level put more than 50 kids on the radar to get a scholarship.

It's what they do.

Just within the past couple of years, BNL has sent more than 40 kids to Division I baseball teams, and more than 100 to various colleges.

Southern Arizona is a talent-rich area for high school baseball, and the players who play for BNL's baseball academy range from players who star at JUCOs to a 2017 first round pick (Trevor Rogers went to the Marlins 13th overall - a $3.4 million signing bonus).

We talked to Arizona pitching coach Dave Lawn, and New Mexico State Head Coach Brian Green, along with BNL Director Bryan Huie about why Southern Arizona's talent is among the best. Watch in the video above.
