FBI investigating homicide on Navajo Nation in New Mexico

The FBI has offered a reward for information related to a homicide that occurred on the Navajo Nation in New Mexico.

The body of a Native American man was found near Gallup, NM on June 8, according to the FBI.

The man suffered multiple stab wounds but the exact cause of death is under investigation, according to officials.

The FBI believes the man was killed Thursday or Friday night.

A witness told authorities they saw two Native American men in a newer four-door blue sedan with Arizona license plates in the area around the time the homicide might have occurred.

The victim’s truck was found burned south of Gallup, NM. Investigators are now searching through the vehicle.

The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
