Senior pets need foster parents

Posted: Updated:

The Pima Animal Care Center is asking for the community to step in and help.

Right now, there are two to three dogs to a kennel in the shelter. PACC is asking for first time foster parent tot take in senior pets. Fostering a pet gives the animal time to re energize and become more appealing to adopters when they return.

Senior pets are recommended, because they are the least demanding, easier to care for and the most loving.

To become a foster parent, visit PACC's shelter at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, between noon and 7 p.m.Monday through Friday. They're open weekends 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
