Woman in connection to 2015 burned human remains case gets 2 years’ probation

A woman has been sentenced to two years in probation for abandonment and concealment of a dead body.

The U.S. Marshalls arrested Deanna Huber in 2015, after the Avra Valley Fire Department found human remains in the trunk of a burning vehicle near Waterman Mountain Road.

The remains were later identified as 57-year-old Curtis W. Oliver from Mesa, Ariz.
