TUCSON - After a brief respite in the gusty winds this weekend, they are back to begin your Monday. Fire danger will be very high again and Red Flag Warnings have been issued for all of southeastern Arizona.
A strong storm over the Pacific northwest is the reason winds will pick-up on Monday. Winds will be sustained from the southwest from 20-25 mph with gusts approaching 40 mph. Please refrain from outdoor burning and exercise caution on the roadways.
Behind the front, cooler air will filter in Tuesday. Highs Monday will be close to 90 degrees, in the warmest spots, with mid 70s returning for Wednesday.
Wednesday will be a transition day with sunny skies, light winds and highs in the mid 80s - before more wind kicks up for the end of the work week.
