St. Baldrick’s Foundation shaves heads for cancer research

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON – About one in 285 children in the U.S. will have cancer before the age of 20. One in five of those children diagnosed with cancer will not survive.

On Friday more than twenty volunteers went bald in their honor at Mountain View High School.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation raised funds for childhood cancer research by shaving heads. Their mission is to raise $10,000.

By far, the foundation has raised $5,265. If you want to donate or want more information, visit https://www.stbaldricks.org or call (888) 899-2253.
