PCSD: “Going out tonight? So are we”

TUCSON -- With the mission of eliminating impaired drivers from the roadways, Pima County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a DUI Sobriety Checkpoint on Sat. Mar. 10.

PCSD urges the community to make a plan before going out and consuming alcohol.

If you are stopped and you are driving under the influence, you may:

  • Lose your license
  • Have your vehicle impounded
  • Pay excessive attorney’s fees
  • Be fined upon conviction
  • Be required to install an ignition interlock device in your vehicle (at your cost)
  • Spend time in jail
  • End up with a criminal record
