A week's worth of warmth

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - The first full week of March features a run at the 80s.

High pressure parked over the Pacific coast dominates the forecast this week, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Highs this afternoon peak in the low 70s, which is on par with early March averages. Mostly sunny skies today gives way to increasing cloud cover overnight. Lows are expected to bottom out in the mid 40s.

Partly cloudy skies are on tap the remainder of the work week. Despite the mix of sun and clouds, temperatures run 7-9° above average. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday appear to be the warmest days of the week as highs reach the low 80s.

Highs remain the upper 70s for the upcoming weekend.

TUCSON-A group calling itself Tucson Bikelife terrorized motorists for nearly a year.  They taunted law enforcement through social media and issued a challenge, “Catch us if you can”.  The group rides motorcycles, and ATV’s on the streets, often taking up two lanes.  They preform stunts, and do wheelies, and also run through red lights.
