Cats rescued in midtown house fire

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON – The Tucson Fire Department extinguished a house fire near the 200 block of North Euclid Avenue Friday and saved six cats in the process.

The fire was said to have started in a front room of the home, and clutter throughout the house made it difficult for firefighters to navigate their way.

TFD said 13 units and 29 firefighters controlled the fire in 21 minutes after arriving on scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
