TUCSON (KVOA) -- A power outage is affecting the northwest side of Tucson early Wednesday morning.

TEP's outage map does not reflect the outage. It is not known what cause the outage or exactly how many residents are without power at this time.

However, a KVOA phorojournalist spotted TEP crews working in the area to restore electricity. The outage appears to be affecting traffic signals throughout the area north of Overton from La Cholla Blvd. to Thornydale Road.
