Did you see a light in the sky?

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - A number of people in the western U.S. reported and recorded a strange light in the night sky Tuesday.

According to KCRA 3, the strange light is reported to be a SpaceX rocket correcting the trajectory of its Falcon Heavy rocket that was launched earlier in the day.

A SpaceX employee said a trans-Mars injection burn created the light seen across California and Arizona. The burn is used to correct the rocket’s path and point it toward Mars.
